Obituary

Michael E. Mullins was born in Charleston, WV on March 20th 1961. Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on March 10th 2022, surrounded by his family. Went to be with the Lord at age 60. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School. Worked as a driver, mechanic, and as a service to the community.

Raised 4 children as a single parent with discipline and lead by action. Along with adding more to the family and treated them as his own. Survived by his sons Shawn Collins, Brandon, and Michael Mullins; and his daughter Cynthia Mcdowell, Brittany King, and Amanda Ball. His grandchildren James, Daniel, Annabelle, Desiree, Max, Vincent, Ashlynn, and Ryanne. (Known as Pop Pop).

Survived by 4 sisters and 5 brothers. He proceeded in death by his brothers, Jackie and Carl Mullins. Also, his parents Sylvia Burdette and James Mullins.

He will be honored for never giving up no matter how rough life may have seemed. Made contribution to the surrounding areas with a warm smile, helping hand, and anyway to make you laugh. Never thought twice to help someone and would take the time to teach you but that comes with a growl. He was blessed with such a huge heart. It’s hard to write everything about this man in just one piece of paper. He was so much more than this.

His body will be cremated per his wishes and spread throughout his children(s) journey.

For his children, this is the hardest goodbye!
