<p>Thomas Alexander Armstrong, age 54, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, after an extended illness. He was born on September 4, 1967, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, and adopted by Wayne and Sue (Pauley)&nbsp;Armstrong. Thomas had lived in Baker County for the past 30 years and was a former volunteer firefighter with Baker County Fire for twelve years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, along with&nbsp;watching and studying bald eagles. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy.<br /> Thomas was preceded in death by his birth mother, Ruth Camacho. Survivors include his daughters, Laura Kay Moats of Glen St. Mary and Veronica M. Armstrong of Macclenny; brothers, Mathew, Michael, and Joey Taylor, all of Jamestown, New York; sisters, Melissa Taylor of Jamestown, New York, Angela Camacho-Isom and Melissa Camacho, both of Paris, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Lance, Landon, Amarely, Rey, and Ava.<br /> Private family services will be held.<br /> Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the care of BLACKBURN-CURRY FUNERAL &amp; CREMATION, 380 N.
