William H. “Bill” Wipperfurth, age 63 years, of Elroy, Wisconsin and formerly of the Waunakee area, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at his home in Elroy.

He was born on October 8, 1958 to Herman and Nancy (Littel) Wipperfurth in Madison.  He grew to adulthood in Westport and graduated from the Waunakee High School.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and socializing with his family and friends.  He watched many sporting events while enjoying a good cocktail and back in the day was known as “Wild Willy Travolta” from Westport.

Survivors include his children, Jacob Wipperfurth and Nicole (Trent) Paffenroth; grandchildren, Paxton and Trasen Paffenroth; siblings, Tierney (Steve) Watzke, Tracy Wipperfurth (Chris Pond), Tamara Wipperfurth (Skip Zander), Tonia Wipperfurth (Terry Coffey) and Tiffany (Tom) Farris and his partner, Jo Butler.

Per his wishes no services will be held at this time, but a Celebration of Bill’s Life will take place at a later date.

The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy is assisting with arrangements.
