John E. Mullet, 80, of Parkman, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, March 12th, 2022 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, OH on April 15th, 1941 to the late Elmer J. and Mary (Hershberger) Mullet. John later married Mary Ellen Miller on October 19th, 1960. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and an ordained Deacon of the Newcomb Road Church District for the past 53 years.

He will be deeply missed by: his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Ellen; children, Mary (Bill) Troyer, Sarah (Wayne) Weaver, Daniel (Betty Ann) Mullet, Laura Mullet, Rachel (Samuel) Miller, John Henry Mullet Jr.; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 8 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

John is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Elmer Mullet; 1 grandchild; 2 brothers; and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, MARCH 15TH, 2022 AT 16771 NEWCOMB RD., PARKMAN, OH with Minister Elwin E. Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Marty Fisher, Joey Miller, Samuel Weaver, and Andrew Weaver. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service 16801 Newcomb Rd., Parkman. John’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
