Livia Gonsalves, 95 of New Bedford, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at Sacred Heart Home. Born in New Bedford she was the daughter the late Bernardino Gonsalves and Albertina (Teixeira) Gonsalves. Livia enjoyed spending her time sewing, knitting and completing puzzles. She worked many years as a seamstress at Justin Clothing Co. Livia is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters; Helen Gonsalves, Mary Gonsalves, Lucia Scott, brothers; James Gonsalves and Francis Gonsalves. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16th from 8-10am with a Funeral Service at 10am at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
