<p>Rose Mary Blume was born on May 20, 1945, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Her parents were the late Arnold and Esther (Bottin) Blume.</p> <p>On September 13, 1980, Rose was united in marriage to Wallace Phillip Lohmann&nbsp;at the United Redeemer Lutheran Church in Zumbrota, Minnesota.&nbsp; Wallace and Rose made their home in Zumbrota, Minnesota. She worked for the University of Minnesota for many years working up from being a technician all the way to Supervisor. Rose then went on to be a dish washer for the nursing home in Zumbrota but soon found herself as the Head Cook for several years before retiring in 1995.</p> <p>Wallace and Rose enjoyed traveling during their retirement.&nbsp; They visited every park in the state of Minnesota and were given a plaque to prove it! In 2018 Wallace and Rose made their home in Leaf Lake Township with Rose&rsquo;s sister Alice. Rose loved working with flowers; between Rose and Wallace there was always a beautiful garden to enjoy. She also loved to cook and bake, often putting on a banquet for her family when they visited.</p> <p>On March 9, 2022, Rose passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota at 76 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.&nbsp; Preceding Rose in death is her husband of 42 years, Wallace Lohmann; her parents, Arnold and Esther; brother Bill Blume and nieces, Jennifer and Crystal Blume.</p> <p>Left to mourn her passing are her brother Leonard Blume of Aldrich, Minnesota; sister Alice Schoon of Henning, Minnesota; sister-in-law Barbara Blume of Grantsburg, Wisconsin; nephews Ed (Chris) Schoon, John (Shannon Baril) Schoon, Bill Blume Jr., Joseph (Shannon) Blume, Guage Blume and Quinton Blume; nieces Peggy (Jamie) Isakson and Cindy (Tim) Odell; many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews;&nbsp; cousins and many friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Rose Mary Blume was born on May 20, 1945, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Her parents were the late Arnold and Esther (Bottin) Blume.
