<p>Thomas Alard Adkins “Aggie”, 79, of Muncie passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022. He was born on February 21, 1943, in Little Crab, TN to the late Ozell Adkins.</p> <p>Tom was a veteran of the United Stated Navy and a pillar of the community. Tom retired from the Muncie Fire Department after 26 years of service, he served 8 years as Deputy Chief. Tom was the proud owner of A&S Roofing Service. He was an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter.</p> <p>Tom is survived by his wife, Barbara Adkins; sons, Tom (Shirl) Adkins, Shawn (Trace) Adkins and Lance (Laura) Adkins; grandchildren, Alisha, Kasandra, Kyle, Kaithlyn, Kileah, Olivia, Kaylah, Taylor, Tyler and Alan; great grandchildren, Sophia, Cristian, Kaithlyn, Mack, Lucien, Laken, Isla, Jordan, Jalen, Jrue, Alayah, Landon, Charlotte, Cooper and Violet; along with several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In addition to his mother, Tom is preceded in death by a sister, Celia (Adkins) Buck.</p> <p>A celebration of life for Tom will be held at a later date.</p> <p>You may share a memory or express a condolence of Tom at www.ballardandsons.com.</p>Obituary
