Peacefully at the Northern Spirit Manor in Thompson, Manitoba on Sunday, March 6th, 2022, Shirley Joyce Cooze passed away at the age of 85 years. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Sister-in-law.

Shirley Joyce Cooze (Stone) was born January 26th 1937 in Bryants Cove Newfoundland. She met her husband Allan Cooze in Harbour Grace and was swept off her feet. They were married for 45 years before his passing.

They lived in Hare Bay NL where they raised their daughters before moving to Leaf Rapids Manitoba where they lived for 15 years until Allan retired then they moved back home to NL.

Shirley loved her bingo, watching WWF wrestling with her husband Allan and spending time with her family. She made the best homemade bread and enjoyed making it with her grandchildren.

Shirley is predeceased by her husband Allan Cooze and daughter Darlene Cooze.

Shirley leaves behind to mourn her Daughter Christine Winsor (Joey), Daughter Tina Merasty (Brian) Grandchildren Stevie Saskowski (Chris), Whitney Winsor (Max), Cody Merasty, Great Grandchildren Alanna, Kyla, Tyson and Julia.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and there are no plans for a formal service at this time.
