Martin J. “Woody” Woods Jr., of East Bridgewater, passed away on February 28, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Woody graduated from Cathedral High School in Boston, class of 1959. After high school, he proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Woody worked for Gillette Company before finding his true calling in the tow trucking business. He was the owner and operator of A&A Associates, a tow truck company based out of Bridgewater for over 40 years where he towed for the State Police, Bridgewater Police and many other clients. His love for his work helped him to develop a successful career and the ability to teach and help anyone who needed it. When not at work, Woody could be found on Lake Winnipesaukee on his boat with his grandson by his side. Woody will be remembered for his caring and generous personality. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Beloved husband of 52 years to Pamela Woods of East Bridgewater. Loving father of Michelle Woods of East Bridgewater. Cherished grandfather of Shawn Martin Spillane and his girlfriend Caitlyn ”CC” Curro both of East Bridgewater. Devoted son of the late Martin J. and Rose A. Woods. Caring brother of John Woods and his wife Olivia of Pembroke and Joseph Woods of Marshfield. Adored uncle of John Woods of Wareham and Michael Woods and his wife Donna of Pembroke. Also survived by many dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Chapman Funeral and Cremation, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324. I'll never forget the horse playing moments catching woody sleeping in a chair while visiting Bridgewater Auto Body. Just a hard and dedicated worker, he could sleep anywhere to recharge his batteries.

I’m so sorry Pam Michelle and Shawn I loved Woody. He was like a dad to me when Michelle and I were younger. He was always there to to help and always offer advice. He definitely will be missed. Love to you all Lauren Fitzgerald Carchedi
