Beverly Bailey Obituary

Lady Beverly Ann Wade Bailey, 88 of Rutledge, died March 6th, 2022. Born on September 11, 1933, she was one of many children to Walter Elsberry & Mae Bell Walker Wade of Stone Mountain, GA. 
An accomplished artist, actress, author and mother, she was wife to the late renowned artist Jackson Bailey. She was a long-time member of the Order of The Eastern Star, held Aberdeenshire, Scotland ladyship, belonged to many ladies leagues and groups over the years and was a member of the choir at Rutledge Baptist where she attended church. She was well known and loved in her community. 
She is survived by children Dr. Kriscinda Bailey Morgan of Loganville (husband Cpl. Allen Morgan), Mr. Rodney Williams of Covington (wife Valerie Mangus Williams), Ret. Deputy Sheriff Eric Williams of Brunswick and Mr. Greg Williams of Buford. She is preceded in death by her son, the late Mr. Jeff Williams of Eatonton and grandson, the late Mr. Joshua Williams of Covington. She had 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 
She is preceded in death by step-daughter Marcia Bailey Presnell and survived by stepsons Mr. Jackson Bailey III and Mr. Jay Bailey. She had 6 step-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren.
Though many of her siblings precede her in death, she is survived by sisters Patricia Wade Drozak of Snellville, GA and Mary Will Wade of Buford, GA, along with many nieces and nephews. 
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 13th at 2:00 pm on the Bailey Gardens portion of the Rutledge Cemetery off Main St. in Rutledge.
