Sue E. Gilkison, 74, passed away at her home peacefully on March 4, 2022.

She was born February 3, 1948 in Geneva, Indiana.

She was a loving stay at home wife, mother, and grandmother with an in home daycare for many years.  She was a member of the Middletown Lions Club, avid gardener, church volunteer, and crafter.  Helping and caring for others is what she was best known for.

She is survived by her husband, Larry, of 53 years, son, Scott (wife, Nadine), daughter, Annette Metschke (husband, Dan), daughter, Stacey Eddinger (husband, Ron);  ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty and Marsha.

Funeral services will be held at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th Street in Middletown.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8th, 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 9 at 11:00 am.

Memorial contributions can be made to the IWIN Foundation, an organization supporting Indiana women with breast cancer.
