<p>Frank&nbsp;Scarpa, 77, of Greensburg died the night of Tuesday March 1, 2022 in his&nbsp;home&nbsp;with his devoted wife Betsy by his side. &nbsp;He was born in Greensburg on November 7, 1944 to the late Nicholas F. and Isabel (Franzo)&nbsp;Scarpa.</p> <p>Frank was a man with a sharp mechanical mind and was very skilled with his hands, a true craftsman, he could often be found tinkering and caring of his home, as well as restoring the rare Ford Model&nbsp;A&nbsp;cars. He was lighthearted with a big personality and smile to match, which will be missed daily by all who knew and loved him. &nbsp;</p> <p>His spirit will be forever remembered by his surviving wife of 49 years Elizabeth McCloskey&nbsp;Scarpa; his beloved son Shane&nbsp;Scarpa&nbsp;of Coraopolis; his sister-in-law Mardi (Eicher)&nbsp;Scarpa; and numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother Lawrence&nbsp;Scarpa, and his sister &ldquo;Cookie&rdquo;&nbsp;Scarpa. The family would like to thank and extend their deepest appreciation to&nbsp;Excela&nbsp;Hospice for the excellent care and comfort they provided throughout his illness. &nbsp;Per Frank&rsquo;s wishes all services private and entrusted to&nbsp;ASHLEY D. Frank Scarpa, 77, of Greensburg died the night of Tuesday March 1, 2022 in his home with his devoted wife Betsy by his side.  He was born in Greensburg on November 7, 1944 to the late Nicholas F. and Isabel (Franzo) Scarpa.

Frank was a man with a sharp mechanical mind and was very skilled with his hands, a true craftsman, he could often be found tinkering and caring of his home, as well as restoring the rare Ford Model A cars. He was lighthearted with a big personality and smile to match, which will be missed daily by all who knew and loved him.
