BURRILLVILLE - William "Bill" S. Dorsey Jr., 76, passed away at home in Pascoag on Monday, February 28, 2022. He was the husband of Miriel (Berthiaume) Dorsey, whom he married July 29, 2001 and was the love of his life. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William Sr. and Claire (McElroy) Dorsey. Bill graduated from John F. Deering High School in West Warwick and later worked as a manager for Kay Jewelers for many years. Bill enjoyed going to yard sales. He spent the majority of his life as an avid antique dealer, buying and selling antiques and was the owner of Country Barn Antiques in Foster, RI for over 20 years. He also raised and raced pigeons and had a love for animals, especially alpacas. He owned Alpaca Love Alpaca Farm and owned 26 alpacas, which he raised, bred and competed in shows with. He served his country in the US Navy. Besides his loving wife, Miriel, he is survived by daughter, Darlene Cardoso and spouse Manuel and two children Alex and Jordan, of Danielson, CT; daughter Rebecca Dorsey and her two children Diondra and Damian, of Riverside and five great grandchildren. He also leaves step-children Linda Costello and spouse Jose, Lisa Oliveira and spouse Peter, Michelle Romblad, Jennifer Tipsword and spouse Jason, twelve step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren. Bill was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Bill's funeral services are private at his request and are entrusted to the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. www.boucherfh.com
