<p>Janet Jacob, 60 of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Dallas Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, February 7, 1962 to Sylvester and Joann Billy Jacob in Honey Grove, Texas.&nbsp;</p> <p>Janet was a member of the Choctaw Women Leaders group. She had a small Choctaw Business where she made Choctaw jewelry and clothing. She loved her culture and participating in events involving it. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and cooking for her son and grandkids. Some of her favorite dishes to make were her Indian tacos and peach cobblers. She was affiliated with Myrtlewood Church of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Janet was a loving daughter, mother sister, nanny, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Billy Jacob; stepmother, Ruth Harris Jacob; daughter, Jami Kay Jacob; grandparents, Nettie and Reverend James Jacob and Margaret and Simon Billy.</p> <p>Janet is survived by her father, Sylvester Jacob of Valliant, OK; son, Brent Jacob of Broken Bow, OK; brother, Carl Jacob of Wright City, OK; stepsister, Hettie Harris of Hugo, OK; grandson, Sebastian Thurman of Valliant, OK; granddaughter, Haleigh Jacob of Hugo, OK; great-grandkids, Grace Thurman and Dax Lindly; aunts, Maryedna Miller of Wright City, OK, Stella Laurence of Dallas, TX, Olene Honanie, Naomi Billy of Idabel, OK, Mary Johnson, Darlene Billy,&nbsp; and Doren Cusher of Broken Bow, OK,&nbsp; and Doris Winship of Vernon, TX; uncles, Don Jacob of Ada, OK, Doyle Billy of Wright City, OK, Delton Billy of Rattan, OK, Danny Billy of Vernon, TX and Bert Billy of Oklahoma City, OK; nephew, Damien Jacob of Tulsa, OK; nieces, Kimberly and Kristen Jacob; great-nephews, Jordan Nolin, Adrian Jacob and Landon Proctor; and many cousins and dear friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stanley Shomo officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.</p> <p>Serving our community one family at a time...</p>

Janet Jacob, 60 of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Dallas Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, February 7, 1962 to Sylvester and Joann Billy Jacob in Honey Grove, Texas.
