<p>Bradley James Michael was born February 18, 1958 in Haxtun, Colorado to Leonard and Donna Michael. He attended and graduated from Haxtun High School in 1976. While attending NJC, he met his future wife, Deb May McCoin. He graduated in 1978 with an Ag Business degree. They were wed March 1, 1980 in Stratton, CO and made their home northeast of Haxtun, CO. Brad continued farming and ranching, working hard through the good times and the bad times to support his family. In 1984 the couple was blessed with their first child, Andrea Kay, on January 29th. A second child, Aaron Lee, was born to them January 20, 1987. They completed their family with the birth of a third child, Alan Austin, on May 31, 1996.</p> <p>He was a self-employed farmer for the majority of his life with his wife and kids by his side. He served on many boards including NRCS Board, Grainland Board, Paoli CO-Op Board, and Western Phillips County Cemetery Board.</p> <p>Brad lived by a strong faith and was active in the Fairfield Covenant Church and Berean Bible Church in Haxtun.&nbsp; His greatest joys were his grandchildren. He loved to attend all their events.&nbsp; He loved family get togethers and attending community functions.&nbsp;</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his wife Deb Michael. Parents Leonard &amp; Donna Michael. In-laws Richard &amp; Nova Joy Blancken, and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister Vicki and Rex Benson of Sterling. Children, Andrea and husband Hazen Schlachter of Holyoke, Aaron and wife Elizabeth Michael of Haxtun, and Alan and wife Kimberlee Michael of Haxtun. Grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan, and Meredith Schlachter, and Colton Michael. Brother-law Jim and wife Lori McCoin of Castle Rock. Niece Cori McCoin and nephew Kellen McCoin of Castle Rock.</p>
