Karen Wert Obituary
Karen Wert, age 78, of Mount Vernon, passed away on March 1, 2022 at Brookdale.
She was born on August 8, 1943 in Mansfield to the late Walter J. and Marie A. (Cain) Thomas.
Karen was a retired flight attendant for American Airlines for 38 years.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra E. (Thomas F.) Rine of Mount Vernon; nieces, Heather E. Fisher and Alina C. (Rich) VanHouten; nephew Kelly Thomas Rine; great-niece Sara Fisher; a great-nephew Christian (Jenny) Fisher; and a close friend, Thomas Turner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Four Corners Cemetery in Butler.
