<p>Anita Rosario Olivarez, 95, of Beeville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022.</p> <p>Anita was born August 10, 1926 in Wasco, California to Antonio and Maria (Herrera) Olivarez. She was employed as a waitress and retired after serving numerous years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting and loved her family.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Maria Olivarez; and a brother, Antonio Olivarez.</p> <p>Left behind to cherish many fond memories include her children, Luis (Virginia) Cerda of Brownsville, Maria Cerda of Brownsville, Armando (Lucy) Olivarez of Alice, Rosa Irma (Conrad) Ruiz of Beeville and Yolanda Alcaraz of Alice; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esperanza Bandoc.</p> <p>Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Angelus Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.</p> <p>Mass will be celebrated at 1 o&rsquo;clock that afternoon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.</p> <p>Pallbearers will be Richard S. Salinas, Andrew Salazar, Rudy Salinas, Riana N. Renovato, Luz Marivel Salinas and Erica Moreno.</p> <p>Honorary pallbearers will be Jessy B. Perez, April G. Perez, Mireya Salinas, Neo Salinas, Lucas Salazar, Nathan Salazar, Layla Salazar, Ethan B. Ruiz and Alaina Ruiz.</p>

Anita Rosario Olivarez, 95, of Beeville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Anita was born August 10, 1926 in Wasco, California to Antonio and Maria (Herrera) Olivarez. She was employed as a waitress and retired after serving numerous years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Maria Olivarez; and a brother, Antonio Olivarez.
