Charles A. Lutkus Jr, of Harrison, NJ. Entered into eternal rest peacefully at home, on Saturday, February 26, 2022.  He was 59 years old.

 

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 12th from 2 to 4pm at the funeral home.   Funeral services are under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029.

Born and raised in Harrison, Charles was a lifelong resident.  He was a member of the Harrison & East Newark Elks Lodge # 2326, American Legion Post # 282, Harrison and VFW Sgt. William Sawelson Post # 340, Harrison. Charles honorably served his country in the Airforce during Peacetime, where he served as a Jet Plane Mechanic.  

 

He worked as a Mechanic for DT Allen Contracting for many years.

 

In his free time he loved music, especially the Asbury Park music scene and most especially seeing his friend Bob Polding of the Bob Polding Band perform there.

 

Charles his survived by his brothers, Richard, Jonathan and his wife, Carol, Vincent and David and his wife, Gina and his nephew Richard Lutkus, Jr.  He was predeceased by his brother Paul (2009), Grandmother Leonia “Lee” (2011) and his parents Charles & Arlene.
