JOHN FREDRICK ROBERTS
1945 - 2022

It is with profound sadness that the family of John Fredrick Roberts announce his passing on Saturday February 26th, 2022 at the age of 77. John was predeceased by his parents, Madeline and Clifford Roberts, and his brother Scott. Leaving to mourn are his two sons John (Phyllis), Brian (Angela), his “angel” daughter Pamela (Bob), mother of his children Maureen, grandchildren, Lee (Karen), Robyn (Peter), Adam (Alicia), Kyle (Jessica), Kayla (Dawson), Laura (Kevin), Mark (Caitlin), and Erin, great grandchildren Kamryn, Drew and Jack, sisters, June (Glenn), Debbie (Garry), brothers Owen and Wayne, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. John will be remembered as a loving son, sibling, father and loyal friend. John loved his community and gave many enjoyable hours to minor hockey, softball, broom ball and the Kinsmen Club. He was also an avid woodsman and hunter. September and the lure of moose hunting always brought a bright twinkle in his eye. His family will always remember him for his standup character and his continuous mantra to always do the right thing and to treat others with respect. Family was so important to John, summer gatherings when all three of his kids and family were together brought him great joy and happiness. To those who know him, please give him a tip of the cap and raise your glass to a great man! John’s family and close friends will have a private service to celebrate his life. The family would like to thank the staff at the ICU and ER at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre.
