<p>Murray Ansel Webb, 90, of El Dorado, Kansas passed away on February 23, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Born May 7, 1931, Murray Webb was the eighth of nine children born to Maude (Burroughs) and Jerry Webb on the family farm just outside of Syracuse, Kansas. At age 20, Murray joined the United States Marine Corps in September 1951 and he proudly served until 1953.<br /> <br /> Upon entering civilian life, Murray joined the El Dorado Public Unified School District (USD 490) in October 1956 working various jobs throughout the district. Many generations who grew up in El Dorado knew Mr. Webb, as he might have been their bus driver, fixed a broken air conditioner in their building or completed any number of tasks that needed to be done for the school district. Murray retired as the Maintenance Director on July 1,1991 after 34 years.<br /> <br /> He leaves behind his sister, Anita Wells of Indiana, his children Karen Saltkill, Nancy Pelkey, James Webb, Judy Ostlund and Bonnie Webb, his stepchildren Leslie (Martha) Madison, Tommy (Rebecca) Madison, Becky (James) Carmichael, Kellie (Tom) Elliott and Kenneth Madison and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.&nbsp;<br /> Murray is preceded in death by his son Ronald Webb, loving wife Virginia Madison Webb and stepsons Kelton Madison and David Madison.<br /> Murray was a kind man that loved making new friends at home or wherever he traveled.&nbsp; He will be sorely missed.<br /> Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.<br /> &nbsp;</p>

Murray Ansel Webb, 90, of El Dorado, Kansas passed away on February 23, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas. 

Born May 7, 1931, Murray Webb was the eighth of nine children born to Maude (Burroughs) and Jerry Webb on the family farm just outside of Syracuse, Kansas. At age 20, Murray joined the United States Marine Corps in September 1951 and he proudly served until 1953.

Upon entering civilian life, Murray joined the El Dorado Public Unified School District (USD 490) in October 1956 working various jobs throughout the district.
