Lillian M. Kaczinski

<p>Lillian Kaczinski, 74, of Grand Mound, Iowa, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at MercyOne Medical Center in Clinton.</p> <p>Lillian was born May 27, 1947, to Jacob and Eva (Trenkamp) Knudsen in Clinton, Iowa. She graduated from Calamus High School in 1965, and furthered her education in accounting at A.I.C.&nbsp; Lillian was united in marriage to Kenneth Kaczinski on May 20, 1967, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lost Nation. The couple resided in Clinton County, settling in Grand Mound in 1983. Lillian raised three boys and was a homemaker. She later retired from the treasury department at Scott County in 2014.</p> <p>She was a member of Sts Philip and James Catholic Church in Grand Mound. Lillian enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and camping. She was very fond of butterflies and gardening outside around the house. Lillian really loved traveling to visit her many extended family members.</p> <p>She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 55 years, Ken; sons, Joel (Joan) of Eagle, Wisconsin, Jay of Grand Mound, and Ross of Grand Mound; grandchildren, Michael and Katelyn, and Morgan; sisters, Margaret (Ingwer) Feddersen, Lucille Chapman, and Sr. Edna Knudsen, B.V.M.; nieces and nephews.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Sr. Marie Knudsen, B.V.M., and William (Mary) Knudsen, Henry (Betty) Knudsen, and brother-in-law Larry Chapman.</p> <p>The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeWitt, the Rev. Fr. Stephen Page officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.</p> <p>Arrangements are in the care of Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Condolences may be expressed at www.schultzfuneralhomes.com</p>
