Barbara J. Kromer

Barbara J. Kromer passed away on February 10th, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 10th, 1955, to the late Clarence and Mary Jane Zirger in Tiffin, Ohio. Barbara attended Calvert High School and graduated in 1973 and was very active and enjoyed playing in the band and a passion she carried on into the years with her saxophone.
Barbara married Michael Kromer in June, 1974. After marriage, they moved to Waterville where they resided in their home up into her death. Barbara started a career as a paralegal in several prominent law offices. After 20 years in this profession, she decided to follow her passion in gardening and landscaping industry. Her most recent employer was Nilsson Landscaping. Barbara had many interests in life including collecting antiques and displaying masterfully in her home that was admired by everyone who visited. Barbara also displayed her expertise outside in her beautiful gardens. She loved riding on the motorcycle with her husband on a "Sunny Day".
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael; sisters: Diane (Pat) Gill, Nancy Kumor, Janet (Matt) Tagliaferri; nieces and nephews: Rhett (Beth) Gill, Kendra Kumor, Marla Kumor, Scott Kumor, Gabby Tagliaferri, Sophia Tagliaferri, and many wonderful in-laws.

Barb will be sorely missed by everyone.
