Jocelyn Mary Williams, 60, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Williamsport, PA, December 28, 1961, a beloved daughter of John Anthony and Cynthia Mae (Diggs) Williams. She retired in January 2020, from Roseview Manor after 30 years of dedicated service as a Dietary Aide. She was a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church. Jocelyn had a terrific sense of humor and was a loyal friend and confidante. She enjoyed creating abstract art, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother, adoring sister, and devoted daughter who faithfully cared for her mother until her passing in July 2017.
Jocelyn is survived by her son, Derek R. Williams and brother, Mark E. Williams, both of Williamsport, sister, Lisa Rae Johnson and brother-in-law, Tony, of Milton, sister-cousins, Cherie Young (Terry), of Linden, NJ, and Leslie Strothers of Williamsport, nieces Kalisha Williams, Alison Worthy Powell, Dana Wong (Thomas), Kayvon Wilson, and Christine Cynthia Johnson and nephews, Anthony and Diandre Williams, Dupre Johnson, and Kenez Braggs, as well as a host of cousins and great nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her father, mother, and brother, Anthony G. “Cato” Williams.
