Goldie J. Johnson, 76, of Stottville, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Born in Hudson, on December 28, 1945 to the late Arthur and Laura (Coons) Johnson. Goldie grew up in the farming communities of Ancram, and Gallatin. She attended Roe-Jan School and was a devoted mother to her seven children. She enjoyed going to social events, especially music in the park. Traveling and being with her family was above all else.
Goldie is survived by her children; Albert, Brenda, and Crystal Feller, William Simmons, Joseph Layton Jr., and Jolene (Christopher) Ramierz. Also by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her brother, Arthur Johnson Jr., and sisters, Nyoma Hanley, Nancy Johnson, and Irene Rinker.
She was predeceased by her son David Feller, her longtime companion Joe Layton Sr., and three sisters, Bonnie Butler, Maryanne Moore, and Sylvia Losee.
Goldies requests are being observed, and there will be no funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, of Pine Plains.
