Dannetrica A. Green Obituary

Dannetrica Annette Green was born on August 9, 1985, to William Kermit Green, Sr., and Dannette Hammonds in Bay City, Texas. She and her family then relocated to Houston where she spent the majority of her life.

Dannetrica was a very smart and intelligent girl and she wouldn’t stop until she got what she wanted. No matter how she was feeling, she wouldn’t complain and she always kept a smile.

Dannetrica attended Sheldon ISD where she received her diploma from C E King High school in 2003. She also attended DeVry University, where she earned her certificate as a medical assistant.

As we all know, the nutritionist was talkative and loved to indulge in a good conversation. She was very stylish, neat, and organized. She’d love to shop online. She had such an infectious laugh that lit up a room and her smile was so beautiful. She’d love to go to church with her girls, where she was a member at the MET church, where she accepted Christ as her Lord and savior. Her childhood church home was Hunter Memorial Church of God in Christ.

In 2006, God blessed her with a beautiful baby girl named Kiaya Heard and in 2007, she was blessed with another baby girl named Kylie Heard. Her girls were her world. They had such a beautiful bond and were the best of friends.

On February 20, 2022, God picked one of his precious flowers to be reunited with her grandmothers, Josephine W. Hammonds and Marylee A. Deloach, and grandfather, David Green.

Dannetrica leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughters, Kiaya Heard and Kylie Heard; husband, Donell Butler (Anajae Butler and Donell Butler, Jr.); mother, Dannette Hammonds; father, William K. Green, Sr. (Tanya); two brothers, William K. Green, Jr., and Joseph (Takia) Thompson; three sisters, Dannessia (Eric) Thompson , Dannetta Parker, and Shurnaye Coleman; nieces, Aaliyah McGee, Keiera Parker, Marguerite Parker, Keona Parker, Makayla Parker, Arabian Thomas, Izr Ella Thomas, Lyric Thomas, and Melody Thomas; nephews, Lewis McGee and Luke McGee; and a host of great-aunts, great- uncles, cousins, and other friends.
