Debra Lynn Bangle
<p><span style="font-size:18px;">Debra Lynn Bangle passed away in her home on Sunday, February 20, 2022, after a three and a half year battle with cancer. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Debra was born on January 19, 1959 to Donny and Doris (Spotts) Bangle. At a young age, she traveled with her parents, siblings and grandparents to western Wyoming and South Dakota while her father and grandfather worked road construction, laying some of the first tar roads in those states. She lived in both Alexandra, MN and Browns Valley, MN, where she attended both grade school and graduated from high school. Debra went on to graduate with her Associates Degree in Interior Design, a passion that stayed with her while she helped friends and family decorate their homes.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Debra loved working with her hands, creating art through wood burning, glass etching, building, and restoring furniture. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially while looking out at the shores of Lake Traverse. Her primary enjoyment however was spending time with her children and grandchildren. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Debra is survived by her three daughters: Jamie (Michael) Bunnell of Las Vegas, NV; Jackie (Brian) O’Shea of Minneapolis, MN; and Niki Fickes of Ortonville, MN; her eight grandchildren: John, Audrey, Kai, Conner, Parker, Carter, Logan, and Colter; her two sisters: Dawn and Donna; aunts, uncles, cousins; and her two best friends: Leon Schwagel and her dog Ziva. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">She was preceded in death by her grandparents Patrick and Doris Bangle, and Cecil and Emma Spotts; and her parents Donny Bangle and Doris Spotts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">A memorial service will be held in the late spring/early summer. </span></p> <p> </p>Obituary
