<p>Etta &ldquo;Marie&rdquo; Cleveland, 86, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, peacefully at her residence in Talala, Oklahoma.</p> <p>Marie was born on June 29, 1935, in Broken Arrow to John Annul and Edna Paulanna (Deatherage) Autry. She attended Broken Arrow Public Schools and earned her GED. She married Lovern &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; William Cleveland on October 4, 1952, in Claremore, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Catoosa and enjoyed 63 years of marriage until Bud&rsquo;s passing in 2015. Later, she moved to Talala, OK to live with her daughter, Gina.</p> <p>Marie had a passion for serving people. She worked as a caregiver at numerous nursing homes, helping and caring for people in need. Before retirement, Marie worked in Broken Arrow, caring for nuns that needed care. Marie attended the Full Gospel Christian Center in Watova, OK. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who know her.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Edna Autry and her husband, Bud Cleveland, siblings; Kenneth Autry, Lester Autry, and Ruth Medlock.</p> <p>Marie is survived by her children; Harold Cleveland and wife, LaDeana of Inola, OK, Verna Rhodes and husband, Clyde of Claremore, OK, Gina Brown and husband, Chuck of Talala, OK, and Russell Cleveland of Claremore, OK, brother, Jack Autry, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, along with other relatives and a host of friends.</p> <p>The family of Marie Cleveland will hold graveside services on Friday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dick Duck Cemetery in Catoosa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Services.
