<p>Holly Bishop Taylor, 54, of Richlands, passed away on February 19, 2022, at Vidant of Greenville. She was born to the late David A.C. and Emma Lee Bishop, on April 16, 1967, in Naples, Florida. Holly is preceded in death by her son John Mae-Lee Taylor and her parents.</p> <p>Holly was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served for 12 years. She then entered civil service at Camp LeJeune, working as a supervisor for the legal department. Holly was a loving wife, mama, &ldquo;Gigi&rdquo;, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her. She took great pride in her family and work. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and cooking.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, John Taylor, of the home; daughters Telisa McLain (Shawn) of Hubert and Kalina Taylor of Greenville; grandchildren Avianna and Grayson McLain; sister Laura Marshburn (Dallas) of Richlands; brother Joey Bishop (Irma) of Jacksonville; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.</p> <p>Those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her fierce personality, passionate love, and humor brought so much joy to our family. Holly is and will forever be the foundation on which our family stands.</p> <p>A funeral service will be held at Jones Funeral Home of Richlands, NC on Friday, February 25 at 1:30 with pastor Jeff Banks officiating. Burial will be private by family request.</p> <p>Arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Richlands.</p>
