Harry Clifton Red Wiggins July 28, 1931 - December 11, 2015 La Grange-Harry Clifton Red Wiggins, 84, of La Grange, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. Red was born July 28, 1931 in Lenoir County to the late Harry Hilton Wiggins and Hazel Waters Wiggins. Red proudly served in the North Carolina National Guard and retired from Caswell Center following thirty years of service where he worked as a electrician. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. A service to celebrate and honor Reds life will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Ivy White and Rev. Brad Parker officiating. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. from Pinelawn Memorial Park. Red is survived by his wife of forty five years, Betty Overman Wiggins; daughter, Julie Lanning and husband, Brian; two sons, Randall C. Wiggins and Brent R. Wiggins; six grandchildren, Hunter Lanning, Briley Lanning, Brody Lanning, Brandon Wiggins, Courtney Wiggins and Hunter Wiggins; brother, Robert Allen Wiggins; sister, Janet Molina; and his beloved granddog, Drake. The family will receive friends Sunday following the service and at other times they will be at the home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.
