Emogene King

     Ilda Emogene (Rich) King, age 92 of Walnut St. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Pickett Care and Rehab. 

     She was born December 14, 1929 in Guntertown, TN to Clayton Rich and Jane (Harden) Rich. She was a member of the Byrdstown First Christian Church, a factory employee and housewife.

     Emogene is survived by (2) Daughters: Barbara Mitchell and Patricia Allen; (4) Sons: J.B. King and Wife: Carol, David King, Roger King and Wife: Sheila, Gary King and Wife: Patty; (10) Grandchildren, (21) Great-Grandchildren and (1) Great-Great-Grandchild. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Clayton and Jane Rich; Husband: Arnold King; (3) Sisters: Rema Story, Ruby Glass and Virginia Lee. 

     Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel. Bro. John Stone and Stephen Bilbrey will officiate, and burial in the Story Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
