Charles was born and raised in New York. He joined the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. He served aboard the USS Henrico and USS Diachenko. He was honorably discharged. Then he met the love of his life, Nancy, and they were married. He graduated college and had a great career with the New York Transit Authority. Nancy passed away in March of 2021. He moved to Nebraska in July of 2021. He enjoyed taking part in the Boelus Halloween as the scare crow and playing Santa Claus for the Boelus Christmas party this past Christmas.
Charles enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, restoring classic cars, boating, enjoyed learning to fly a plane, and he swam with dolphins on their many travels. He called himself the “Jack of all trades, master of none”. He gave unconditional love to friends, family, and strangers. He will be missed by all of us!
