<p>Purlisa Ronia Bacon was born December 30, 1961, to the late Mr. Clarence A. Bacon and Mrs. Rosa Swilley Bacon.&nbsp; She was reared and nurtured in a close family of Bradenton, Florida.&nbsp; Purlisa&rsquo;s education was attained in Manatee County school system, graduating from Bayshore High School in 1979.&nbsp; She attended college at Manatee Community College.</p> <p>Purlisa was an employee of the Courtyard Marriott, Manatee Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Hospital.&nbsp; She was a caring daughter, sister, mother and friend.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Purlisa possessed a great love for sports, especially basketball and softball which she played during high school and college.&nbsp; She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age at Ward Temple A.M.E. church, Bradenton, Florida.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Purlisa will be celebrating with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; her father Clarence A. Bacon; brothers: Anthony J. Bacon, and Wayne L. Bacon; aunts: Mrs. Callie (Ben) Elias, Mrs. Eddie M. (James) Newell, Mrs. Josetta (Zory, Sr.) Kenon, Mrs. Montez Adams, Mrs. Marion (Marcus) Butler, Ms. Lela M. Bacon, Mrs. Johnny S. James, Mrs. Dorothy S. Quick, Ms. Violet S. Thomas, Ms. Denise B. Swilley, Mrs. Lora dean S. Woodie; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Doretha Bacon, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. John and Lola B. Swilley; uncles: Mr. Willie Bacon, Sr., Mr. Clifford Bacon, Mr. James (Elouise) Bacon, Sr., Mr. Calvin Swilley, Mr. Al&nbsp; Swilley, Sr., Mr. Earl D. Swilley, Tyrone W. Swilley, and Mr. Clarence Hines; aunt, Elaine Swilley; and nephew, Lenard D. Bacon.</p> <p>Purlisa passed from this walk of life on February 7, 2022, leaving to cherish fond memories of a loving and caring family and friends, her mother, Mrs. Rosa S. Bacon; her daughters: Felicia K. Bacon, and Lenita S. Bacon; her only granddaughter, Miracle M. Lang, all of Bradenton, FL.; grandsons: (twins) Demarcus E. Bacon, Deandre A. Bacon, Jarmar D.&nbsp; Faison, Xavier L. Bacon, and Tyreek D. Hayes; godchildren: Latoya Edwards, Tamika&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Houston, Sandria Wortham, and Purvis Ron Lazier, all of Bradenton, FL.; sister: Karen&nbsp; Bacon; brothers: Clarence G. Bacon of Bradenton, FL., Glen Bacon of Avon Park, FL., Demetro &ldquo;Rod&rdquo;&nbsp; Bacon of Riverview, FL.; uncles: Dr. Charles Bacon of Athens, GA., and Dr. Fredrick Bacon of St. Paul, MN., a special niece, Deanna L. Bacon of Palm&nbsp;&nbsp; Harbor, FL.; and the many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones from Florida, Connecticut, and New York who mourn her death are just countless.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&ldquo;IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL&rdquo;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Purlisa Ronia Bacon was born December 30, 1961, to the late Mr. Clarence A. Bacon and Mrs. Rosa Swilley Bacon.  She was reared and nurtured in a close family of Bradenton, Florida.  Purlisa’s education was attained in Manatee County school system, graduating from Bayshore High School in 1979.  She attended college at Manatee Community College.

Purlisa was an employee of the Courtyard Marriott, Manatee Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Hospital.  She was a caring daughter, sister, mother and friend.
