Rytych</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Eldon Ray Rytych, the son of Wesley Rytych and Ollie (Kasper) Rytych, was born October 27, 1935 in Republic County, Kansas and passed away on February 16, 2022 at rural Belleville, Kansas at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 19 days.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Eldon grew up in rural Republic County, attending Silverthorn Grade School and Cuba High School, Cuba, Kansas, graduating in 1955.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Eldon served with the United States Army from September of 1958 until his honorable discharge in September of 1960.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>On July 22, 1962, he was united in marriage to Betty Reppe in Bruce, South Dakota and to this union was born:&nbsp; Janis and Michelle.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>The couple made their home in Haddam, Kansas where Eldon worked for Adee Bee Honey Farms. &nbsp;&nbsp;They later moved to Courtland, Kansas where Eldon worked for Bergstrom Livestock as a farmer and stockman for many years until his retirement in 2007.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Eldon was a member of the Courtland Covenant Church, and the Czech Club.&nbsp; He enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening, along with watching car races and basketball games.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Ollie Rytych; and his wife Betty on May 22, 2005.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Eldon is survived by two daughters, Janis Rytych of Belleville, Kansas and Michelle (Blaine) Blazek of rural Belleville, Kansas; one sister, Barbara (Norman) Slama; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Courtland Covenant Church, Courtland, Kansas with Pastor Dwight Garman, officiating.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Interment will be at the Tabor Cemetery, rural Munden, Kansas.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Friends may call for visitation from 1 PM until 8 PM on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 2 PM until 4 PM on Sunday.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Memorials are suggested to the Courtland Covenant Church or Meadowlark Hospice.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Online condolences at www.bachelor-surber.com</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas is in charge of the arrangements.</strong></span></p>

Obituary of Eldon R. Rytych

            Eldon Ray Rytych, the son of Wesley Rytych and Ollie (Kasper) Rytych, was born October 27, 1935 in Republic County, Kansas and passed away on February 16, 2022 at rural Belleville, Kansas at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 19 days.

            Eldon grew up in rural Republic County, attending Silverthorn Grade School and Cuba High School, Cuba, Kansas, graduating in 1955.    Eldon served with the United States Army from September of 1958 until his honorable discharge in September of 1960.

On July 22, 1962, he was united in marriage to Betty Reppe in Bruce, South Dakota and to this union was born:  Janis and Michelle.

The couple made their home in Haddam, Kansas where Eldon worked for Adee Bee Honey Farms.   They later moved to Courtland, Kansas where Eldon worked for Bergstrom Livestock as a farmer and stockman for many years until his retirement in 2007.

Eldon was a member of the Courtland Covenant Church, and the Czech Club.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening, along with watching car races and basketball games.
