Christopher "Chris" Mayall
Canton - Christopher "Chris" Mayall, 51, of Canton, passed away, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his home in Canton.
He was born on September 9, 1970, in Springfield, to Rebecca "Becky" Bryant and David Moose. They preceded him in death along with one niece, Bailie Bryant.
He is survived by his daughter, Grace Mayall and his son Rob Mayall, one brother Bob (Dawn) Bryant, one sister, Heather (Brian Henderson) Strode, two nephews, Dalton Bryant and Drake Strode, two nieces, Samantha Strode and Becca Strode, two aunts, Sharon (Larry) Bainter and Diane (Ronnie Brown), one Uncle Dick (Judy) Thomas, his beloved dog Norman, several cousins and many friends.
Chris graduated from Havana High School in 1988. He then joined the United States Navy, serving in Dessert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After 8 years of service in the Navy he became a boilermaker.
Chris enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He loved watching boxing and was an avid Mahammad Ali fan. Everyone who knew Chris also knew he was a Superman enthusiast, but most of all he loved his children Rob and Grace.
A memorial service will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Military honors will follow the services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his children, C/O Mid America National Bank in Canton.
