Linnea E. Bogen Wheaton, Illinois Obituary

Linnea E. Bogen

On Monday, February 14, 2022, Linnea E. Bogen “Aunt Nay” passed away at the age of 71 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite her illness, she was always a positive person who brought joy to everyone she met. Linnea retired from Central Steel & Wire Company on December 31, 2013 after 45 years of loyal service. She deeply loved her family and friends more than anything. She enjoyed time with her cats, bowling with friends, listening to Beatles music, and watching her beloved Chicago Bears. She was very proud of her Swedish heritage. She loved her sweets and never missed sending out a greeting card for every holiday. She is survived by her nephew, Grant LeTourneau and wife Patti; niece Stacy Romanelli and husband Nick; nephew Garrett LeTourneau and wife Lexi; and great nephews Greyson and Gavin LeTourneau and Maximo, Mason, and Luca Romanelli. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Bogen and Ragna Bogen nee Nordmark, and her brother, Gene (Bonnie) LeTourneau. She will be lovingly remembered by cousins Sandy Aasgaard, Brian Purcell, and David (Pamela) McDermott, and many friends. She will be extremely missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton (1 blk. East of Naperville Rd). Private graveside service.
