Sylvia Botello-Fuentes, 63, of Humble, Texas, was reunited with the Lord after passing on February 12th, 2022. She was a devoted wife and loving mother of two sons.

Sylvia was born on November 16th, 1958, in Houston, TX, to Daniel and Bernilde Botello. She graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1977. Once she graduated, she began her career with the Houston Chronicle, then moved over to the Civic Center in Downtown Houston, before joining Unifirst, where she retired in 2007.

At Unifirst, she met her husband, Emanuel Fuentes III, to whom she was married to for eighteen wonderful years.

Sylvia brought an undeniable warmth and presence into every room with her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. She exuded passion in every area of her life, whether baking sweets, working on crafts, participating in Church events, or spending time with close friends. She never missed an opportunity to show people she loved how much she cared. Her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren were her world.

For her family, friends, and colleagues, the world will never be the same, but we know the Lord welcomed her with open arms and she is free of any pain.

Sylvia is survived by her husband, Emanuel; her son, Lorenzo and his wife Veronica; her son, Daniel and his wife Gabriela; her brothers, Daniel, David, and Ruben; her grandchildren, Adrianna, Athena, Aaliyah, Noah, and Jacob; her Brother-in-Law, Jimmy Bustos of Cheyenne, WY, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her Grandparents; her Father, Daniel Botello; her Mother, Bernilde Botello; and her sister, Ruth Bustos.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Rosewood Funeral Home – Atascocita. A celebration of her life service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial will follow the service.
