Caryl Ann Chambers, 74, of Rice Lake, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Woodstone Senior Living in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Caryl was born on November 21, 1947 in Webster County, Iowa the daughter of Marjorie and Richard Chambers.
Caryl graduated with a teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She worked as a teacher and educator and also a librarian in the Chetek School District. She was a member of the Chetek Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was involved with bible study. She enjoyed entertaining, dress up costume parties, shopping and traveling. She enjoyed holidays and Halloween was by far her favorite.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Richard, her brother, Reg Chambers and her daughter, Joee Gohs. She is survived by her grandchildren, Hoyt and Hendrix Gohs and their father, Jarrid, her special friends, Karen Magnuson and Terry Etten and many other friends and her church community.
The funeral service for Caryl will be held at the Chetek Lutheran Church on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation at church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at the Sumner Cemetery following the service.
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
