JoAnne Lichtenberg Obituary

Joanne Duran Lichtenberg, 64, of Blue Ridge Summit, PA passed away on February 11, 2022, at Chambersburg Hospital.  She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy and her daughter, April as well as her boys, Jonah and Noah, her two black labs who will miss her terribly.

She was born April 9th, 1957 in San Antonio, TX.  She is the daughter of Jesse “Joe” and Maria (Valdez) Duran.  She is also preceded in death by her uncle Louie and her son-in law Brandon.

Joanne was a vibrant, loving wife and mother.  Her laugh was infectious and her smile was blinding.  Her presence filled the room and she loved making everyone laugh.  She was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan in the heart of Steelers country and she wasn’t afraid to show off her Cowboys and proud attitude!  Her loss leaves her family bereft of her light and the beautiful soul that was uniquely Joanne.

Joanne’s care has been entrusted to Black’s Funeral Home.
