Alberta Lou (Thomas) Kidd, of Bright, Indiana, passed away at her home on February 11, 2022 at the age of 89.  Alberta was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dee and Maude (Walling) Thomas. She married Orville Kidd and they were blessed with 5 children: William, Michael, John, Joseph, and Tina. Alberta which many called Berta Lou enjoyed every minute with her family.  She was always watching her grandchildren and had the best memory.  You could ask her anyone's birthday or phone number and she had it remembered.  Berta Lou was also an avid reader until her eyesight went bad.  She also enjoyed taking pictures when family was around. Everyone that was blessed to be family or friend will miss her special conversations of the past they had with her. 

Her memory will live on with her beloved children:  William (Jan) Kidd, Michael (Brenda) Kidd, John Kidd, Joseph (Bobbie) Kidd, Tina (Randy Zimmer) Cull; cherished grandchildren: Scott & Alisha Kidd, Nichole Browder, Jacqueline (David) Martin, Heather (Jared) King, Brittany Kidd, Courtney Wilson, Joseph II (Amy) Kidd, Jennifer Kidd, & Russell Kidd, Tanya (Wayne) Barkley, Andrea Weller & Carie Tucker and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She will also be missed by her beloved sister: Helen Wettencamp and many nieces and nephews.

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Orville Kidd; grandson: Michael Kidd; parents: Dee Thomas and Maude (Walling) Poe; and siblings: Pat, Elsie, Mary, Ray, & Dottie. 

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 1:30 at Elizabethtown Cemetery.
