Ray Bilbrey

Ray William Bilbrey, 73, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Jewish Hospital. He was the Owner/Operator of Bilbrey Contracting. He was a long-term member of the Sunnyside Boat Club. He enjoyed boating on the Ohio river. His first boat, the “Wet Dream”, was always the boat he adored the most. His love for boating was second only to his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters Angel Bilbrey-Windell and her husband Mike of Corydon, IN, and Shannon Bilbrey-Kopp and her husband Russell of Corydon, IN; grandsons Joshua Windell, Lucas Windell, Jeremiah Windell, Noah Windell, Conner Kopp and Austin Kopp; great-grandchildren Easton Windell, Brooks Windell, and Bishop Windell; brother Richard Bilbrey of New Albany, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lois Jean Bilbrey; brothers John and Robert Bilbrey; sister Barb Henke. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
