Cecil Ross Cutler

<p>Cecil Ross Cutler passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 9, 2022 after a long battle with Dementia. Cecil was born in Kanosh, Utah in 1938 to Ross Pascal Cutler and Carma Charlesworth Cutler, both deceased.</p> <p>Cecil went to high school in Marysvale, Utah, and as a senior, he and his teammates won the state basketball championship. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1962 where he assembled Nuclear Weapons. During his service, he was sent to Germany and spent two years there.</p> <p>He married the love of his life, Betty Jackson Cutler in 1964. They were married for 57 years, and raised their two children in Ephraim Utah, where they lived for 33 years after moving there in 1975.</p> <p>Cecil managed the Ben Franklin store in Ephraim for 28 years and was a respected member of the Ephraim Chamber of Commerce. After Cecil retired from Ben Franklin in 2003, he and his wife travelled extensively across the United States and Mexico. Cecil was a master card player, and while he was retired, he won a Texas Holdem&rsquo; tournament in Arizona where they lived for several years. Cecil was also an avid pool player, and was the envy of many of his friends.</p> <p>Cecil had a terrific sense of humor and was loved and respected by many. He had a brilliant mind that was lost to the devastating disease of Dementia. He will be greatly missed.</p> <p>Cecil is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jackson Cutler, their two children, Gary Cutler (Laura) of Littleton Colorado, and Karla Rouska (Eric) of Ephraim Utah, three grandchildren, Colten Rouska (Tashani), Gavin Rouska, and Regan Paiva (Leo), and one great grandchild, Ryland Rouska. He is also survived by his sister, Yvonne Carter (Jonnie).</p> <p>In lieu of a funeral, a &ldquo;Celebration of Life&rdquo; open house will be held for anyone who wishes to pay their respect to the family on March 5, 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 230 North 200 East, Ephraim, Utah.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
