Yvan Gauthier

His family announces his death on February 5, 2022 at the age of 48.  Dearest father of Traeh and stepfather of Maxime Vandal of Sudbury, Nevaeh McGraw-Bull of Longlac, Kayleigh and Hayden Littlejohn of Winnipeg.  He is survived by his mother Diane Gauthier (Viau), his sisters Linda Alarie (Donald), Lise Gauthier and Lucie Gerrard (Terry).  He will be sadly missed his granddaughter Kylie Vandal, his nieces and nephew Amanda (T.J.), Liette (Dominic), Stacey (Ethan), Marc, Deidra, Samantha, Courtney (Miguel), Savannah (Kelvin) and Bradey as well as his godchildren Savannah and Axel. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews and friends. He was pre-deceased by his father Robert Gauthier and his grandparents Eugène and Victorine Viau and Armand and Laurette Gauthier. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 15th at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Longlac. As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, the attendance is restricted to 60 people at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church and a record of attendance must be maintained. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending.
