<p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">David &ldquo;Tommy&rdquo; Sims</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">66, of Camden, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">He was born October 17, 1955 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to the late James V. and Clara (Smith) Sims.</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his son David Wayne; brother Vernon Sims; sister Loretta Sims; and brother-in-law; Mike Baird.</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Sims; children, Lisa Sims, J.T. (Destinae) Sims, and Nicole Sims ; grandchildren, Landon Overman and Taytum Sims; brother Jimmy (Linda) Sims; and sister Brenda Sims.</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Tommy had been a machinist and retired from Arctech Fabricating.&nbsp; He enjoyed fishing, and had a great love for the outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren.&nbsp;</span></span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">The family will have a gathering of friends Monday, February 14 from 4-7PM and Tuesday, February 15 from 10-11AM at Christ Commission Temple, 155 N. Main Street, Camden.&nbsp; The service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Larry Davidson officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.</span></span></strong></em></p>

David “Tommy” Sims

66, of Camden, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

He was born October 17, 1955 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to the late James V. and Clara (Smith) Sims.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his son David Wayne; brother Vernon Sims; sister Loretta Sims; and brother-in-law; Mike Baird.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Sims; children, Lisa Sims, J.T. (Destinae) Sims, and Nicole Sims ; grandchildren, Landon Overman and Taytum Sims; brother Jimmy (Linda) Sims; and sister Brenda Sims.
