De'Dria E. Dutton Obituary

De'Dria Emrally Dutton was born December 16, 1993, to Charles and Rhonda Dutton.
DeDria was baptized at an early age at New Life in Christ Missionary Baptist Church under the

leadership of Pastor Frank Maxie where she remained until her untimely demise.

DeDria grew up as an energetic, bubbly, and active little girl. She was the baby girl whom everyone in the family wanted.

DeDria attended public school in the Aldine ISD. She received her high school diploma from Nimitz Senior High School in 2012. She also attended Texas School of Business, where she earned her certificate as a medical assistant, as well as a pharmacy technician.

As we all know, DeDria was very talkative, and at any given moment, she would exercise her right to indulge in good conversation. DeDria also spent the vast majority of her time shopping online, whether it was the latest gadget or something special for Karter. Amazon was no stranger to her. Although DeDria was not big on large crowds or clubbing, she was always the life of any family function, where she earned the title “Twerk Queen”. DeDria’s smile would light up any room, and her beautiful personality was infectious.

In 2013, DeDria was blessed with a handsome baby boy whom she named Karter. He was her world, and the bond between the two of them will never cease.

On February 2, 2022, God picked one of his most precious flowers and brought her home to be reunited with her father, Charles Dutton, maternal grandparents, Northington and Emma Butler, paternal grandparents, Raphael and Mattie Dutton, and great-aunt, Ruthie Callagin.

DeDria leaves to cherish her precious memories: one son, Karter Tatum; mother, Rhonda Dutton, and two brothers, De’Julius Dutton and Raphael (Robin) Dutton, all of Houston, Texas; three aunts, Aundria Edwards, Karen (Pam) Jackson, and Genise (Ray) Ryans, and one uncle, Paul (Cynthia) Davison, all of Houston, Texas; god parents, Lateef and Annie Michelle Mose; one special cousin/brother, Lamond Guy Edwards; special friend, Darius Rochester; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
