<p>Roy Williams, 91, passed from this life on February 1, 2022, at home.&nbsp; He was born March 24, 1930, to Henry and Bessie Howard Williams in Rochester, Texas.&nbsp; He was proud to be a veteran having served 4 years during the Korean War.&nbsp; He worked for Celotex Corporation much of his career and National Gypsum until his retirement.&nbsp; Roy loved to fish, work in his garden, watch the Dallas Cowboys and play dominoes and cards.&nbsp; He loved cats and dogs.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Williams; son, Leon Williams; and Grandson, Donald Roy Williams.&nbsp; He was also preceded in death by siblings Glen Williams, Marvin Williams, Gerald Williams, Murl Williams and Hazel Adams.</p> <p>Those cherishing his memory are his daughter, Linda Camp, Stamford, Texas; Randy Williams, Midland, Texas; and Ronnie Williams, Breckenridge, Texas.&nbsp; Also, two grandchildren, Amber Benavides, Stamford, Texas and Alex Galvan, Abilene, Texas.&nbsp; Roy had six great-grandchildren Avery, Millie, Xairah, Landon, Bella and Bailey. He had numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Visitation will be Tuesday February 8, 2022 at Foster Adams Ray Funeral Home; 505 th St, Hamlin Texas 79720.</p> <p>Services will be Wednesday February 9, 2022 at the funeral home.&nbsp;</p> <p>Lunch will be provided at North Central Baptist Church;</p> <p>613 N Central; Hamlin Texas 79520 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary
