<p> </p> <p>Piedmont, WV</p> <p>David Edward Blowe, 79, of Piedmont, WV, died on February 5, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland.</p> <p>Born on April 29,1942, David was the son of the late Edward Nathaniel Blowe and Catherine (Twyman) Blowe Davis, and stepfather, James Davis. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel F. Twyman and Walter L. Blowe; his wife, Alberta Diane (Beckwith) Blowe; and his favorite aunt, Lilly McCray, and her daughter Valarie McCray.</p> <p>David a 1961 graduate of Piedmont High School, which he was very proud of, and was employed at Westvaco for more than 33 years. He loved to gather with friends at the senior center and travel on various trips. He was affectionate of his graduating class of 1961 from Piedmont High School. David was a Christian by faith.</p> <p>David is survived by his daughters, Neenah Minhas and husband, Zulfiqar of Keyser, Nickole Price and husband, Frederick of Piedmont, and Nola Blowe and friend, Shandee Dixon, of Keyser; and his son, Phillip Blowe of Petersburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica Taylor and husband, Aaron, Joshua Blowe and wife, Sheri Dominique Blowe, Jasmin Price, Lacrisha Blowe, Jackie Price, Diderot Jean Baptise, Jennae Price, Fatima Minhas and Deven Blowe. David is survived by his great-grandchildren, Malachi Blowe, Aaliyah Taylor, Maaziah Fertig, Alyssa Taylor, Braylen Blowe, Mason Blowe, Avery Taylor, Zoey Dolly, Kambrie Blowe, Jaleyah Gibson, Riley Dolly, and Naudia Minhas. David is also survived by his close cousin that he talked with daily, Douglas Twyman. </p> <p>Family and friends will be received Saturday, February 12th, at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Darnell Allen officiating.</p> <p>Interment will take place in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.</p> <p>Pallbearers will be Alexander Johnson, Angelo Taylor, Keith Johnson, Aaron Taylor, Chris Taylor, and Shandee Dixon. Honorary Pallbearers are Douglas Twyman, and Freddy Price. </p>Obituary
