Patricia Ann Rozell

Patricia Ann (Beard) Rozell, 73, of 17 B North Church Street, Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in her home. Born July 18, 1942 in the Marsh area of Antrim Township, Franklin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late George L. and Viola M. (Bingaman) Beard. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School with the Class of 1960. Patricia was employed for the Borough of Waynesboro, PA for 17 years. She later worked at Sunnyway Foods and Rutter's Farm Market. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and had attended services at Four Square Pentecostal Church, both of Greencastle. Patricia was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by two grandchildren, Douglas Basore and his wife, Krissy and Isabella Reihart, all of Greencastle; two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Dayton; one sister, Janet Cosey of York, PA; two brothers, Robert Beard and his wife, Joanne of Carlisle, PA and Edward Beard and his wife, Sandra of Greencastle; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry D. Freeman who passed away May 24, 2014; and a sister, Ida Mae "Sis" Beard. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Otterbein United Brethren Church 146 Leitersburg Street, Greencastle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
