Melvin Frank Cooper, 86 of Trenton departed this life on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ, Franks as he was affectionately called was a lifelong area resident. He was educated in the Trenton Public School System. He was formerly employed by General Electric (Trane), Acme Hamilton Rubber Co., Hill Refrigeration and Westinghouse. He was also a member of Local 369/595. He was an honorably discharged United States Air Force veteran. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Hazel Vereen, three stepdaughters, Edith Elwanda Vereen, Eleanora and Rosie T. Cooper, a sister, Melvina (Sally) Kelly and a brother, Clifford Cooper. He leaves to cherish precious memories, two sons, Frank Melvin Cooper, Jr. and Nelson Cooper; one daughter, Ruthena Cooper; one stepdaughter, Clementine Ingram (Lee); one brother, Mario Cooper and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
