Michael R. Sturgis
Greenville and Jonesport – Michael R. Sturgis, 70, passed away February 3, 2022, at Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Jonesport. He was born on October 13, 1951, in Greenville, the son of Robert and Gladys (Bickmore) Sturgis. He will be missed by his brother, Lee "Bunky" Sturgis and sister, Janet (Sturgis) Given, both of Florida, in addition to many nieces, nephews and abundant family friends. <br/><br/>Michael was born and raised in Greenville. He was a deeply religious man and often talked about his church, minister and fellow parishioners; he deeply loved his family, loved cats and was fond of baseball. He is now fully at peace with his parents and sister. The family wishes to thank Sunrise Assisted Living facility and its many kind caregivers who have supported him on his life journey.<br/><br/>Burial will be in the spring in the Greenville Cemetery.
