Celia A. Curran Obituary

Chicopee - Celia A. (Wysocki) Curran, 74, passed away peacefully at her home on November 4, 2015 with the love of her family surrounding her. She was born June 6, 1941 in Springfield, daughter of Edward J. Wysocki and Anna (Grygorowicz) Mulligan. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening and camping, but most of all, holiday traditions and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Celia will be greatly missed by her five children, Kathy LeMoine and husband Donald of Springfield, Karen Hunter of Chicopee, Tim Curran and wife Janet of Bristol, Kim Myers and husband Raymond of Granby, Lisa Bishop and husband James of Westfield. She also leaves three siblings, Dorothy Grandmont of Chicopee, Eddie Wysocki of Cotuit, MA, Michael Mulligan of Holyoke and six grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Justin, Jyton, Timothy and Shawn. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren Jordyn, Ava, Jonathan, Emily and Justin, Jr. Adopted son and Daughter in law Mike and Tara Kane, as well as her faithful, beloved dog Maggie. Celia was preceded in death by a sister Alice Donatello. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation from 11:00-12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Dakin Animal Shelter, 171 Union St, Springfield, MA 01105.
